Caregiver Part-time - Daytona Beach

Community Resource Network of Florida Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. Position Overview Seeking a compassionate caregiver/companion to assist with ADLs, light housekeeping, and community outings. The individual enjoys conversation and companionship, as well as going out to eat. Ideal candidate will provide supportive, friendly assistance while helping promote independence and community engagement. Schedule Monday to Thursday from 2pm - 6pm You will be a good fit for this position if you: Have a positive outlook and contagious energy Demonstrate patience and compassion Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role: Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities Assisting with personal hygiene tasks Meal preparation and light cleaning Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization Complete daily progress notes Qualifications and Skills Valid driver’s license Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training. Provide a High School diploma or equivalent. Are 18 years of age or older.
