Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients on a 21-bed high-acuity unit specializing in pulmonary disease
• Monitor and interpret continuous cardiac telemetry; telemetry competency assessment required on Day 1
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED Boarders

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory — no training or refreshers will be provided; must be clearly documented at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with complex pulmonary or respiratory conditions
• Comfort working in high-acuity settings with rapid patient turnover and varying levels of care needs
• Prior float experience across Med-Surg specialty units such as Oncology, Cardiac, or Stroke
