Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel CT Tech to work in a 10-bed FSED. The role involves performing CT and X-ray imaging services efficiently during night shifts. The technologist will collaborate with an X-ray tech until 11 PM and will work independently from 11 PM to 7 AM. The imaging department has established protocols for scans, ensuring quality and up-to-date practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging services.
• Maintain equipment and workstations according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the emergency department and other healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current AART (R)(CT) certification
• BLS certification required
• 1-2 years of experience in CT and X-ray
• Proficiency with GE CT Scanner, Philips XR, Vitrea, and Merge PACS
• Experience with MedRad contrast injector preferred
• Familiarity with EMR, preferably Cerner
