What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
