Welder – MIG / Stick
Direct Hire | 2nd Shift | $26.00+/Hour – Great company benefits

TOPS Staffing is looking for experienced Shop Welders to join a growing manufacturing operation. If you're a solid MIG/Stick welder looking for a long-term shop position, steady Monday-Friday hours, and strong union benefits, this is a great opportunity.
Schedule & Pay

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Starting Pay: $26.00/hour
Initial training will be completed on daylight shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

What You'll Be Doing

MIG and Stick weld fabricated steel components
Read and work from blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
Fit, prep, grind, and clean materials before welding
Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
Make adjustments as needed to produce quality welds
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Complete basic production and quality documentation
Learn additional welding processes as needed

What We're Looking For

Previous MIG and Stick welding experience required
Must be able to successfully complete a weld test
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Manufacturing or heavy fabrication experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
SAW experience is a plus, but not required — training is available
