Quick Facts Location: Lafayette, LA Start Date: 07/30/2026 Duration: 1-2 weeks per month Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24-hour coverage) Hours/Week: As scheduled within coverage period Employment Type: Locum or permanent opportunity available Licensure/Certs: Medical License in Louisiana, Board Certification in Neurology Experience: Prior inpatient neurology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay rate: $1.00 (to be confirmed upon application) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable regulations Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other applicable expenses 24/7 support team dedicated to your success What You’ll Do Cover inpatient stroke and general neuro services at a busy hospital Collaborate with a team of NPs and healthcare professionals Participate in 24-hour coverage shifts, ensuring continuous patient care Document and manage patient records accurately Provide high-quality neurological assessments and interventions Support hospital stroke protocols and protocols for general neuro cases Engage in documentation, reporting, and care coordination What You Need Current medical license in Louisiana Board-certified or eligible in Neurology Experience with inpatient neuro stroke and general neuro services Ability to pass background checks and complete required applications Flexibility to work 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM coverage shifts Reliability and strong communication skills About the Assignment This assignment is at a reputable hospital in Lafayette, LA, focusing on inpatient neurology services, including stroke and general neuro coverage.
