Primary Care Nurse

• Provide the delivery of culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based care models in delivering nursing care for Primary Care patients including adult medicine, pediatric, Palliative Care, and OB/GYN patient populations.
• Perform phone triage, including assessment, screening, clinical advice, nurse visits (in person/ video visit) in-clinic hands on procedures, and other duties assigned.
• Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.
• Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources.
• Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and health care/community services to promote continuity of care.

• Ability to manage complex clinical issues utilizing assessment skills, protocols, and evidence-based interventions.
• Willingness to adapt to different populations ie: pediatrics, OB/GYN, adult medicine as patient demands. Orientation and training would be provided for new subspecialties within primary care based on expansion of division.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure to practice nursing in Michigan.
• Three (3) yrs (out of last 7 years) of RN experience in Adult Internal Medicine (to include Adult Inpatient, Emergency Services, or Ambulatory Care Medicine Adult).
• One (1) year of OB/GYN RN experience

• Ambulatory Phone Triage experience
• Experience working as an RN, providing care to Family Medicine patients.
• Experience working as an RN, providing care to OB patients in the ambulatory care setting.
• Experience working as an RN, providing care to pediatric patients in the ambulatory care setting.
• Experience working as an RN, providing care to Palliative Care patients.

• Hourly range for Registered Nurses $43.46- $67.40/ hour
• Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
