Newton Crouch Company is seeking a skilled Equipment Assembly Technician to join our production team in Griffin, GA. In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate assembly of dry agricultural spreading equipment.

This position requires close attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulics, brakes, electrical and parts kits
• Drill, grind and prepare steel parts
• Assemble parts to create finished unit
• Quality control to ensure all equipment assembled matches drawings and Newton Crouch standards
• Work independently or with Final Assembly team to ensure equipment is assembled in timely manner 
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of any hazards

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of machine operating experience
• Knowledge of basic hand tools i.e.: handheld plasma, grinder, cutting torch, etc.
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and wiring diagrams
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to safely operate a forklift is required
• Build and maintain relationships within team
• Exhibit a high level of personal integrity
• Display sound judgement and common sense
• Demonstrate a positive attitude toward self and others
