Identity Security & Governance Director

Zimmer Biomet seeks a Director of Identity Security & Governance to establish enterprise-wide identity strategy, access controls, and governance across IT, medical device development, and operational technology environments. This role provides global leadership for identity risk management, privileged access governance, and Zero Trust implementation across complex organizational and technological landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise identity security strategy, control architecture, and multi-year investment roadmap
• Lead identity governance program including access requests, certifications, role management, and segregation of duties
• Define security requirements for Zero Trust access, authentication, and conditional access across IT and OT environments
• Establish governance frameworks for non-human identities, service accounts, machine identities, and AI agent access
• Lead identity threat detection strategy and response playbooks in partnership with Security Operations

Requirements

• Enterprise identity security strategy and architecture development experience
• Identity governance and administration (IGA) program leadership
• Privileged access management and Zero Trust security framework knowledge
• Experience governing non-human identities and AI system access controls
• Leadership of globally distributed security teams and cross-functional stakeholder management
• Cybersecurity risk assessment and control design expertise
• Medical device or regulated manufacturing environment familiarity preferred
