Mission Science & Applied Research Analyst

Mission One is seeking a Mission Science & Applied Research Analyst to embed scientific expertise into intelligence and operational mission environments. These roles are designed for scientists who can apply deep domain knowledge to real-world intelligence problems—supporting assessments related to CBRN/WMD, environmental and terrain impacts, technical validation, and long-term strategic analysis. This role bridges applied science and intelligence analysis, enabling customers to make informed decisions based on scientifically grounded insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply scientific domain expertise to interpret complex intelligence indicators and data
• Support CBRN/WMD, environmental, terrain, maritime, space, or technical assessments
• Enhance analytic credibility through modeling, scientific baselines, and technical validation
• Collaborate closely with all-source analysts, technical intelligence analysts, and collectors
• Provide expert input into long-term assessments, forecasts, and strategic products
• Deliver clear, decision-ready narratives that translate scientific findings for non-scientific audiences
• Brief senior stakeholders on scientific implications tied to mission objectives

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with classified research environments or secure analytical workflows
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary intelligence teams
