What You'll Do
  • Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room environment
  • Assist in pre-operative assessments and preparations for surgical procedures
  • Support surgical teams during procedures, maintaining sterile techniques
  • Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout surgeries
  • Document patient data accurately and update care plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Follow all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols
What You Need
Required:

  • Valid RN license for Louisiana
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience working in a fast-paced surgical or perioperative environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in operating rooms or surgical units
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in clinical settings
  • Basic computer literacy
