Job Summary Working as a Flik Hospitality Group Working as a Banquet Manager at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center, you will manage the event planning and operations from start to finish, offering personalized solutions for our clients and work with our operations team to make sure we exceed our client’s expectations. Flik is a member of Compass Group USA Key Responsibilities Coordinates and oversees internal and external catering events Develops and maintains the catering marketing plan including a comprehensive event planning service to clients and detailed menu development Hires, trains, and schedules catering staff, and will be actively involved in the development of existing catering staff in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures Ensures successful operations of catering functions including labor cost control, foods cost control and preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup of all events Books, selects and costs menu items, pricing contracts, and resourcing temporary help and equipment experience is key Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree is required in Hospitality or Culinary Arts, Bachelor’s degree Preferred Minimum of five years of experience in hospitality industry including four years in management (preferably Catering Management) is required The ability to supervise food preparation, service and clean up is also essential Must have previous supervisory/banquet management experience in a hotel Must have flexible availability, able to work AM and PM shifts, including weekends ServSafe Certified a plus Must have a valid clean driving license Associates At Flik Hospitality Are Offered Many Fantastic Benefits.
