Associate - Asset Management, Los Angeles/ San Francisco

Summary of Position Asset Management Associate – responsible for asset strategy, business plan development and execution, investment performance, lease analysis, redevelopment management, and refinancing/disposition analysis within the LosAngeles and SanFrancisco operating portfolios. Key Responsibilities Provide analytical support for existing properties: quarterly valuations, cash management, hold/sell analyses, and ad‑hoc sensitivity analyses. Work with third‑party leasing teams to analyze and negotiate new leasing deals. Conduct market research via third‑party data providers and local brokers to compile lease comparables, sale comparables, competitive sets, development pipelines, and general market data. Prepare presentation materials and proposals, including written and graphic requirements. Participate in annual budgeting and reforecasting with property management, design & construction, leasing and accounting teams. Execute or establish asset business plans; coordinate with investment partners and internal teams, including third‑party consultants such as architects, engineers, and marketing agencies. Manage refinancing and disposition activities as they arise. Track ongoing capital projects in coordination with design & construction teams and property management. Skills & Qualifications 3–5years of experience in an analytically rigorous real‑estate or finance environment. Passion for real‑estate and a desire to build a career on the principal side. Strong creative problem‑solving skills. Effective written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Excel, ARGUS Enterprise, and financial modeling. Ability to work effectively with peers and senior executives in a highly entrepreneurial, team‑oriented environment. Unwavering attention to detail. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $115,000 – $130,000 (LosAngeles). Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
