About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active state license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: Active ACLS certification from approved vendor Active BLS certification from approved vendor Must-Have: Candidates must have experience and be willing to work with orthopedic and gastrointestinal surgeries. Candidates must be willing to float between facilities. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off cannot exceed 7 days and no requests for time off during the first week of assignment. Candidates should clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept regarding location, shifts, and departments. Candidates should list all relevant facilities and departments they are experienced in working. Candidates should be pre-closed and ready to accept the position upon offer. Description: Candidates must possess a minimum of 24 months of PCU experience. Recent experience within the last 12 months is required. Life support certifications must be from recognized organizations. There must be no issues with the state license to practice. Candidates must provide a driver’s license to verify residency. Travel experience is highly preferred. Adherence to all background check standards is required. A completed resume with all relevant facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds listed is necessary. A completed PCU skills checklist from the last 12 months is required. Active life support certifications must be documented. A driver’s license must be provided.
