Maintenance Technician II (Manheim)

Overview Company Cox Automotive is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform skilled and semi‑skilled duties in the repair and maintenance of buildings, equipment, machinery, and grounds at a specified Cox location. The role requires on‑site work and no remote option. Compensation Hourly base pay: $24.23 – $36.35, with potential additional compensation such as commission or incentive programs. Responsibilities Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site. Perform minor and general maintenance on heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems. Carry out routine carpentry work on building repairs. Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, belts in machines and equipment (e.g., truck, street sweeper, riding mower). Operate snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks. Ensure all equipment functions correctly and meets safety standards. Clean and empty wastebaskets and trash containers; keep buildings clean. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and comply with safety rules. Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform additional duties as assigned, such as moving furniture, unloading supplies, etc. Work overtime as business needs dictate. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED and at least 3years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Strong communication and organizational skills. Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb frequently; lift 1–50 pounds; vision required. Preferred: 1–3years of maintenance experience; knowledge of light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
