This position is located in Roy, UT.What You'll Get To Do:The Flight Systems Futures team executes the design and development, procurement/manufacturing, and integration & test of novel flight systems across a broad spectrum of applications.Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:Functional block diagram, Visio preferredSchematic capture, Altium preferredPSPICE electrical simulationElectrical requirements development, assisting system engineersElectrical analysis for compliance with requirementsElectrical interface control document generationElectrical system architecture design, including grounding, power distribution, communication busses and discrete signalingElectrical component selectionElectrical subsystem selectionAnalog circuit designBasic QualificationsT05: 12 Years with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD.Must have 2+ years of experience leading Electrical Engineering and/or technical teamsMust have 5+ years electrical design experience for hypersonic systems, flight systems, missiles, etc.Must have an active or current Secret clearance at time of applicationAbility to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.Preferred QualificationsExperience with FPGAHands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardwareExperience presenting complex technical programs and concepts to non-technical personnel and customersExperience with CEM modeling tools such as HFSSCable design and testingEngineering for EMI/EMC/ESD compliance, Mil-Std-464Responsible engineer (RE) for electronics subsystemsManage 3rd party contractors and vendorsThis position is contingent upon contract award.As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage, 401k, Educational Assistance, Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions, Paid Time Off, Health & Wellness Resources, Employee Discounts.This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
