Job Title:Logistics Operator Department:Warehouse Reports To:Warehouse Manager Site:US Waffle-Hazelwood FLSA Status:Full Time; Non-Exempt Hours: 2:30pm-11:00pm(Monday-Friday) 2nd Shift Differential: $1.00 Position Profile Cérélia's newly established Frozen Breakfast Business Unit is driving an ambitious growth strategy, backed by two manufacturing facilities: US Waffle in Liberty, SC, and in Hazelwood, MO. To effectively support the rapid scaling of operations at our state-of-the-art Hazelwood facility, Cérélia is seeking a dynamic and skilled Logistic Operator to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. The Logistics Operator will be responsible for operating warehouse equipment in a food manufacturing warehouse. Warehouse activities to include receiving, handling, stock keeping, picking, and loading within the warehouse, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsible for safety, process efficiency, quality assurance within the warehouse, and meeting customer expectations. Primary Responsibilities Operate forklift and pallet jacks as needed. Operate stretch wrap machines. Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and methods including operating scanners or handheld devices used to move and track items. Prepare and complete orders for shipping according to the schedule. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Computer-based order picking in cooler or freezer environment. Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and shipped. Check in and sign out drivers in log. Inventory cycle-counting Check in raw materials, packaging supplies, and other deliveries according to procedures. Label all incoming materials according to procedures. Stock production lines with needed materials. Keep warehouse areas interior and exterior clean and organized. Daily cleaning will be required. Flexibility to work off-shifts, including days or nights, weekends, or holidays. Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with quality policies and procedures, including product hold and traceability. Report any discrepancies with product or code dates. Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet SQF, regulatory, company, and customer requirements. Health and Safety Ensure the use safe work practices and that safe working conditions exist. Conduct daily equipment checks as required. Report any damage or equipment issue to Supervisor. Ensure compliance with government regulations. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security. Operate all forklifts according to OSHA standard and company policies and SOPs. Must be able to work in coolers and freezers for extended periods. PPE will be provided. Follow company safety policies and practices fostering a safe workplace and environment for ourselves and our co-workers. Qualifications Good communication skills High School diploma or equivalent Basic math skills Forklift experience preferred. Must have good command of the English language, both written and verbal POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a Full Time, permanent position Non-Exempt position 40 hours per week, and it may require working additional hours depending on business need requirements.
