Housekeeper/Custodian Opportunity

Shift: Days (7:30am-4:00pm)

Department: Housekeeping

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and methods
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning and housekeeping equipment
• Ability to read/write comprehensive English and document observations
• Ability to verbally communicate with patients, staff and general public in a manner that is understandable and with dignity, compassion and respect
• Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior cleaning experience as a housekeeper, custodian, janitor or cleaner.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas and resident rooms
• Assist with light maintenance
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Promote positive public relations for the facility
• Perform other housekeeping tasks as required
• Attend housekeeper meetings as required
