About the Position

**Job Title: Labor & Delivery • Registered Nurse • Nights**

Join our team in California as a Labor & Delivery RN for night shifts, providing essential care to mothers and newborns.

**Responsibilities:**

• Deliver comprehensive care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Interpret and document fetal monitor tracings.
• Provide immediate newborn care post•delivery.
• Offer preoperative to postoperative care for obstetrical patients.
• Conduct labor stage screenings in the OB Observation Area.
• Manage patient admissions and discharges.
• Educate patients and families on labor and delivery.

**Requirements:**

• Current California RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN.
• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• 1+ year of travel RN experience.
• Ability to float to the OR.
• Weekend and holiday availability.

**Preferred:**

• BSN or MSN.
• RNC•OB and RNC•EFM certifications.
• STABLE Program completion.

**Physical Requirements:**

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching.
• Lift, push, pull up to 25 lbs; assist in patient transfers.
• Exposure to stressful conditions.

This 13•week assignment offers night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 or 48 hours per week. Apply to make a meaningful impact in maternal and newborn care.
