Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position Overview The RRT will provide comprehensive respiratory care services, including ventilator management, patient assessments, respiratory treatments, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy services under physician direction for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. Assist with intubation procedures and manage ventilator setups. Perform patient evaluations, treatments, and diagnostic respiratory procedures. Educate patients and caregivers regarding respiratory care needs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital standards. Float to adult ICU, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care units as needed. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent RRT experience required. Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required. Previous ventilator management experience required. Must be willing to float within adult ICU/intermediate care areas. Must have an active New Jersey Respiratory Care License . Required Certifications NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract Details Every other weekend required. Holiday coverage required.
