Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified Restructuring Associate to join its practice in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in representing secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and related transactions. Duties Represent secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Handle DIP financing and cash collateral use. Manage plans of reorganization and asset dispositions. Conduct out-of-court workouts and restructurings. Oversee foreclosures and liability management transactions. Facilitate assignments for the benefit of creditors. Requirements 4-6 years of law firm experience in restructuring. Strong communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Strong writing and analytic skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Proficiency in bankruptcy law and related transactions. Ability to manage complex legal matters.
