Lab Tech III

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Lab Technician III for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Irvine, CA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Manage sample inventory for stability, development, and GMP testing using the SAIS inventory system.
• Prepare and coordinate shipments of samples, including highly potent compounds, between internal and external sites.
• Ensure compliance with shipping procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support laboratory equipment and storage devices by monitoring performance and submitting maintenance or repair tickets.
• Conduct routine laboratory walkthroughs to ensure biosafety and operational readiness.
• Manage laboratory consumables such as CO₂ and LN₂ supplies to maintain continuous operations.
• Prepare common buffers and media for analytical testing.
• Coordinate pipette collection and distribution to maintain equipment readiness.
• Escort third-party vendors during equipment qualification and maintenance activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with approximately 5+ years of laboratory experience
• Experience managing laboratory samples or inventory systems preferred
• Familiarity with handling or shipping highly potent compounds preferred
• Understanding of export-controlled materials or regulated laboratory environments is a plus
• Experience working in cross-functional or global team environments
