Registered Nurse – ICU / Med-Surg Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13–18 week options available); Days, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Complete required facility orientation modules and annual competency assessments

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must hold a permanent Ohio license or a valid Compact State license at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med-Surg Telemetry experience
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
• No open licensing actions or open background check cases

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med-Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility
• Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
• Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or acute care environment
