Teacher Instructional Math Coach at Eastside High School

The Teacher Instructional Math Coach will support high school teachers in improving mathematics instruction, increasing student achievement, and strengthening rigorous teaching practices aligned to district and state expectations. Responsibilities Include: Provide coaching and support to Math teaches through modeling, co-teaching, classroom support, and feedback. Support implementation of Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and advanced mathematics curriculum aligned to state standards Assist teachers in strengthening problem-solving, reasoning, discourse, and conceptual and understanding. Analyze assessment data to guide instructional planning. Facilitate PLCs, common planning, professional development sessions, and data meetings Support tutoring, intervention, acceleration, and graduation readiness programs. Assist teachers with pacing, lesson planning, and differentiation strategies. Promote student engagement and achievement in mathematics.
