An excellent opportunity is available for a Veterinarian in Spring Valley, CA, joining an established companion-animal hospital offering a broad general-practice caseload, strong technical support and excellent clinical autonomy.

The Hospital
This established small-animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, with a strong emphasis on preventative medicine, personalized treatment plans and long-term client relationships.
Veterinarians work alongside experienced veterinary technicians, assistants and client-care professionals, helping maintain efficient workflows while allowing doctors to concentrate on medicine, surgery and client communication.

With digital radiography, ultrasound, dental imaging and in-house laboratory capabilities, veterinarians have access to the resources needed to investigate cases efficiently and maintain continuity of care from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up.
The Opportunity
You'll manage a varied companion-animal caseload encompassing preventative medicine, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry and surgery, with the freedom to make appropriate clinical decisions for your patients.
•Deliver comprehensive wellness and preventative care
•Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
•Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans
•Utilize digital radiography, ultrasound and in-house laboratory diagnostics
•Perform routine and general soft-tissue surgery
•Provide comprehensive dental care
•Develop appropriate anesthesia and pain-management protocols
•Manage senior and chronic-disease patients
•Educate clients on diagnoses, treatment options and preventative healthcare
•Maintain accurate and timely medical records
•Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and client-care professionals
•Participate in shared case discussions
•Develop individual areas of clinical interest
•Participate in continuing education and professional development
•Receive or provide mentorship depending on experience
Scheduling is designed with flexibility and work-life balance in mind, with participation in a fair Saturday rotation.
