About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales for the Industrial Sales - Midwest region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the industrial sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in selling complex technology or network solutions to industrial sectors. The SVP will be tasked with setting and executing the sales strategy, leading the sales cycle for major opportunities, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within the sales organization. Key outcomes for the first 12-18 months include achieving aggressive sales targets, expanding relationships with strategic accounts, and optimizing the sales pipeline and forecasting. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), at least 15 years of B2B sales experience, and a minimum of 10 years in executive sales leadership. The role demands expertise in long-cycle enterprise sales, government contracting, and proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools. The ideal candidate will also possess strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills, and demonstrate competencies in results orientation, strategic thinking, and relationship building. Familiarity with industrial IoT and related technologies, as well as experience in private network sales, is a plus. The position is remote, with a requirement for travel to client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.
