Step into a pivotal educational role as a contract-based School Psychometrist supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time opportunity in the Mobile, AL area requires a dedicated professional eager to foster growth and success through on-site assessment and collaboration. Assignments may span multiple campuses, responding dynamically to student testing needs. A chance for contract extension into summer and next school year is possible, contingent upon performance.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychometry or School Psychology.
• Active, valid state licensure as a School Psychometrist.
• Proven experience with K-12 psychoeducational assessments.
• Ability to provide images of all required current licenses.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and parents.
• Flexibility to work at various locations as needed.
• Commitment to on-site, in-person services; remote or hybrid work is not permitted.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and assist in developing appropriate educational interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Travel between school sites (itinerant assignments possible based on caseload).
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure timely completion of all assessment documentation.
• Communicate assessment findings to educators, families, and stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.

Noteworthy Details:

• 40-hour workweeks from October 1, 2026, to May 26, 2027.
• Interviewing for qualified on-site candidates beginning 8/26/2026. Interviews will pause between 8/31-9/4, then resume.
