Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour

Job Overview

RealClean Aircraft Detailing Greater Arizona is hiring a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Lead Aircraft Detailer / Crew Lead to support our growing aviation detailing operation across Scottsdale, Mesa, Phoenix, and surrounding airports.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality work, works well with a team, and wants exposure to the aviation industry. You’ll help clean, detail, and protect a wide range of aircraft including training aircraft, turboprops, private aircraft, and corporate jets.

The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, safety-focused, and capable of helping lead crews on-site while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support aircraft detailing crews on-site
• Perform exterior wet/dry washes, waxing, and paint care
• Complete interior detailing and deep cleaning services
• Assist with brightwork polishing and specialty detailing services
• Help train new team members and reinforce safety procedures
• Communicate with the Operations Manager regarding job progress and quality
• Represent the company professionally with clients, airport staff, and FBO personnel
• Follow company SOPs and FAA-related safety requirements at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, tools, and equipment

Qualifications

• Hard-working, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable following procedures and safety standards
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather conditions
• Flexible schedule availability including occasional weekends, early mornings, or evenings based on aircraft schedules
• Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to pass FAA-mandated drug and background checks

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

• Aircraft detailing
• Automotive detailing
• Marine or RV detailing
• Commercial cleaning services
• Team lead or crew lead experience

Paid training is available for motivated candidates willing to learn.

FAA Compliance

This position is subject to the FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program in accordance with federal regulations. All applicants must comply with the company’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy and be willing to undergo testing upon hire.

Schedule

• Full Time
• Primarily Monday–Friday
• Weekend work as needed
• Schedule may vary based on aircraft and client needs

Work Location

This position supports aircraft at multiple aviation locations throughout the Scottsdale, Mesa, and Phoenix metro area including:

• Airports
• FBOs
• Hangars
• Flight schools
• Client aircraft locations

Company vehicles and equipment are provided for approved work assignments.

Compensation

$23.00 – $28.00 per hour
Starting pay is based on experience, work ethic, leadership ability, and overall fit.

Candidates with prior detailing or aviation-related experience may qualify for higher starting pay.
