Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a board‑eligible / board‑certified, fellowship‑trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our practice. This position offers the opportunity to build a busy medical and surgical retina practice within Mayo Clinic’s collaborative, mission‑driven academic environment. Additional niche expertise is desirable. The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional surgical proficiency, experience in multidisciplinary teamwork, a strong commitment to teaching, and active participation in clinical research. Candidates should have an interest in academic medicine and contributing to education and scholarship at a national academic medical center. Responsibilities Perform vitreoretinal surgical procedures with high proficiency. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care. Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and other trainees. Participate actively in clinical research and scholarly activities.
