Operations Supervisor - 1st Shift Organization: Learjet Inc Primary Location: Wichita Service/Compltn.Center Responsibilities Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program Perform supervisory responsibilities such as performance & development management, time keeping, hiring, dismissals and lead/coordinate daily meetings Coordinate the completion of all planned and ad-hoc maintenance Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Repair Station/Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) Monitor housing and facilities safety requirements and report any insufficiency Engage with customers regarding Aircraft Maintenance (where required) Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications 3 years of experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection procedures Leadership experience; Aircraft Maintenance (preferred) Possess an A&P certificate or certificated under FAR (part 65) Be familiar with aircraft inspection system & procedures Be familiar with Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Demonstrate effective leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people Have strong organizational and planning skills Possess proficient computer skills Benefits Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more) Competitive base salary Retirement savings plan Employee Assistance ProgramTele Health Program Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Bombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
