Embroidery Machine Operator
Location: Largo, FL
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Position Overview
Partners Personnel is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to operate multi-head, computerized embroidery machines. The ideal candidate can work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate multi-head, computerized embroidery machines.
- Retrieve artwork and production orders using a computer.
- Upload digitized artwork files into the embroidery machine.
- Select the correct logo placement and rotation for each product.
- Enter the appropriate thread-color sequence.
- Hoop garments and other products securely, evenly, and accurately.
- Monitor machines and embroidery placement throughout each production run.
- Inspect completed products for defects, accuracy, and overall quality.
- Make basic machine adjustments, including adjusting thread tension, replacing or centering needles, and checking bobbins.
- Log orders into and out of each production stage.
- Follow all sharps-handling and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Meet established production quotas and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous embroidery, printing, machine-operating, or production experience is preferred.
- Experience with computerized embroidery machines is a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and production orders.
- Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to assist with additional production responsibilities when needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
