Equipment Operator

Job TitleLoads material onto lines and trailers safely via front end loaders. Operates equipment in accordance with O&M manual. Performs inspections on equipment daily. Must obey all company safety regulations, and performs other job-related duties as assignedEssential Functions/Position Responsibilities:Operate equipment in accordance with O&M manualCheck material (incoming and outgoing) for quality and conformityTake material to designated storage area safelyLoad material onto lines and trailers safelyKeep material stacked neatly and safelyMust keep up with general housekeepingCheck oil and fluids dailyPerform inspections on equipment dailyMust obey all company safety regulationsPerforms other job-related duties as assignedHiring Requirements:High school education or equivalent (additional experience may be substituted for education)Minimum of six (6) months experience operating machineryMust have a demonstrated ability to follow directionsProfessional Attitude & conductMulti-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills are needed.High degree of safety awareness and safety disciplineBe willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required.Be at least age 18 years of age due to nature of working environment.Random and Suspicion Drug tests are performedPlease be aware that you must successfully complete a drug screen and background check in order to be hired into the Pratt Industries.
