Base pay range $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr What you\'ll do Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming); maintains product quality standards. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence, keeps work area compliant with policies, ensures quality and date control standards for meat products, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminates waste, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures items are properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policy. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by delivering high-quality service and products; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; applies related action plans and the Open Door Policy. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; prioritizes deadlines; communicates progress; identifies opportunities for improvement; adapts to change and feedback.
