Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Kingston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sat 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as required. Observe and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations to help deter unauthorized activity. Assist with emergency response activities, access control, and directional support for visitors as appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
