Lakeland Regional Health is a Level I Trauma Center with a Level III Maternity Care designation, delivering comprehensive, complex obstetrical and gynecologic care in a state-of-the-art environment.This is a position for physicians who want to practice real, high-level inpatient OB — without clinic responsibilities or call burden.Why is the Women’s Care Hospitalist program different?· Employed hospitalist model· Full-time status with an average of 7, 24-hour shifts per month· No call. No clinic. No outpatient responsibilities.· True work-life balance with predictable scheduling· Practice alongside a dedicated team of 2 experienced OB/GYN physicians and certified nurse midwives 24-7· Reliable back-up support from a strong OB/GYN team· Structured OBED model for efficient triage and workflow· High-volume, high-acuity exposureThis is not a low-risk community OB unit.
