Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across a vibrant school district as a school-based Physical Therapist. This full-time position offers you the chance to work district-wide, providing care and support to students in multiple schools. With a schedule of 35 hours per week (8:30AM-3:15PM), you’ll play a vital role throughout the entire academic year, starting September 4, 2026, and concluding June 25, 2027.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to fulfill all NJ onboarding requirements, including:
  • Recent TB test
  • Physical examination
  • Fingerprinting for both operational partners
• Willingness to participate in a virtual (Zoom) interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to K-12 students across several district schools
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other therapists to develop and implement IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
• Educate and support school staff regarding mobility and adaptive strategies
• Travel between multiple school locations throughout the district as needed
