Entry Level Technician

*Job Description*
We are seeking a *Level 1 Data Center Technician* to support installation projects within a fast-paced data center environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in physically demanding work who are looking to learn a new trade and build a long-term career in a growing industry.
No prior telecom experience is required. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. If you have experience in construction, general labor, the trades, military service, or other hands-on environments, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
*What You'll Do*

* Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
* Assemble, stack, and drill racks and equipment cabinets
* Scan, label, and port equipment according to project standards
* Assist experienced technicians with installation activities
* Operate safely while working on ladders and scissor lifts
* Use hand tools and installation equipment safely and effectively
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Support additional installation tasks as directed by experience technicians

* Experience working in physically demanding environments such as construction, trades, military, manufacturing, or general labor
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Reliable attendance and proven dependability
* Ability to work on ladders and lifts throughout a 10-hour shift
* Ability to work outdoors during both hot and cold weather conditions
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* Safety-focused mindset
* Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks
* Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced team environment
*Nice to Have*

* OSHA 10 certification
* Low-voltage installation experience
* Cable pulling experience
* Telecommunications or structured cabling experience
* Hands-on electrical experience
* Military Experience
* Experience operating scissor lifts

*Schedule*

* Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
* Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
* Overtime may be required based on project needs
* Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime when needed
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeville, SC.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
