We’re hiring a Shop Technician (Mechanic) who thrives on solving complex problems across pump, power generation, and commercial HVAC systems. If you like building what’s next—and getting rewarded for it—this role includes competitive pay, overtime after 40 hours, and a $2,000 retention bonus.

What a Day Looks Like

• Open your dashboard, create/assign work orders, track service intervals, and order parts using laptops/tablets.
• Diagnose and repair generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Perform preventive maintenance in the shop—and travel to customer sites when needed to complete field repairs.
• Troubleshoot failures on-site and in-shop; document work thoroughly and on time every day.
• Set up and operate equipment solo or alongside another technician to meet customer timelines.
• Coach newer techs and share best practices; assist with equipment and parts pick-up/delivery.
• Work safely at all times and understand OSHA standards (preferred).
• Participate in year-round, company-provided OEM training.

Pay, Schedule & Location

Location: Niagara Falls, NY (Advanced Solutions facility)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; overtime paid after 40 hours. On-call rotation may apply with additional compensation.

Salary: Final rate depends on experience and location.

• Tech I: $22–$27
• Tech II: $25–$31
• Tech III: $28–$34
• Tech IV: $32–$39

What You Bring

• Owns tools appropriate to the role and demonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Comfort calculating tonnage and kW requirements; reads and interprets schematics confidently.
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, and clear written/verbal communication.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred.
• Field service, maintenance, and repair background preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record; must be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle.

Physical & Role Requirements

• Comfortably move, stand, stoop, and bend throughout the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Some customer sites may require Field Technicians to be clean shaven.
• This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 paneldrugscreen
