Advanced Practice Nurse - CRNA

Overview Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position at Northeast Medical Group, New London, CT. Day/Evening schedule, 40 hours per week, full‑time. EMR: EPIC. This role supports the Yale New Haven Health System Vision and Mission through integrity, patient‑centered care, respect, accountability and compassion. Responsibilities Implement accurate, safe, patient‑centric anesthetic care. Understand physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations of surgical procedures; monitor vital signs, capnography and pulse oximetry per ASA guidelines. Ensure appropriate documentation according to hospital and regulatory requirements and protect patient information in all formats. Demonstrate high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care. Continuously engage in projects that maintain and advance professional competency. Qualifications Completion of a Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program and graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program (American Association of Nurse Anesthetists). Preferred clinical experience as a CRNA within the specialty, but none required. APRNs, PAs, CRNAs and CNMs must be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and credentialed through the Medical Staff process. Physical requirements: stand for long periods, wear lead for fluoroscopy/X‑ray, lift 25 pounds, reach above and below shoulder height, move patients between anesthesia locations. Licensure AANA Certification State of CT RN and APRN License ACLS and DEA Registration; State of CT Controlled Substance Registration Benefits Competitive salary, sign‑on bonus up to $60,000, relocation assistance up to $10,000.
