Private Client Services Associate or Counsel Attorney

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Private Client Services Practice Group in New York City . This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney to work with high-net-worth individuals on complex trust and estate matters while developing expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Pennsylvania Bar Admission or the ability to waive in.
• LL.M. and  strong tax background required .
• 5+ years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills , including experience with complex wills and trusts .
• Proficiency in preparing client presentations , tax calculations and analysis , and administering estates from probate through closing .
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact.
• Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration.
• Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs.
• Manage the administration of estates from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met.
• Prepare client presentations and conduct tax calculations and analyses.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service.
