Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive client assessments to identify risk factors, screening criteria, and necessary interventions for at-risk populations, specifically focusing on issues such as suicide and elopement.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs and circumstances, reviewing them regularly during treatment planning meetings.
\n
• Leading psychoeducational and process groups, facilitating discussions that encourage healing and promote understanding among participants.
\n
• Documenting all patient interactions, assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with organization policies to ensure accountability and transparency.

• Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, including preparing clients for discharge and providing post-discharge follow-up as necessary.

• Actively monitoring client safety and wellness, responding promptly to any changes in condition or environmental hazards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n
