Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all functions within a warehouse and maximizing overall efficiency. This individual must be able to bring people together and capitalize on everyone's potential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: overseeing and assisting with the incoming material receipts and put-aways, overseeing and assisting pulling orders for production, operating warehouse equipment as needed, managing transfers between warehouses, replenishing warehouse and production stock, providing solutions to improve work efficiency, keeping the warehouse and work environment clean and organized, assisting in cycle counting and accompanying research, handling warehouse transactions for damaged or returned items, running shortage reports, understanding ISO processes, working under the Materials Manager on continuous improvement projects, mentoring and developing staff, deescalating conflict, having a safety-first mentality, grasping material flow both physically and in an ERP system, tracking order pulling times, working with Material Control to maintain an accurate inventory, being data driven with decision making and problem solving, handling disciplinary issues, possessing strong interviewing skills, making decisive decisions, and communicating in a manner that brings people together and fosters collaboration.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years' related experience working in a warehouse environment. Extensive experience utilizing an operating system (preferably SAP) to maintain inventory movement. Basic computer knowledge (Email and Microsoft Office). At least one year of experience operating forklifts and/or electrically powered equipment. Proven leadership experience in managing teams within a production or warehouse setting. Language Skills: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization. Must possess good customer relations skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management. Must be able to communicate in a manner that resolves conflict rather than escalating situations. Mathematical Skills: Strong math skills. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop and bend. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment with exposure to the shop and warehouse environment as well.
