Step into a fulfilling role supporting students ages 5–21 as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers meaningful work throughout the upcoming academic year and summer, with the chance to make a real impact in the lives of children and adolescents within a specialized population. The assignment runs ASAP through June 28, 2027, with full-time hours during the school year (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) and adjusted summer hours in June (7:45 AM–2:15 PM, Monday through Friday).

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligible) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Proficiency or strong interest in evaluations, assessments, observations, and report writing
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs: autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, intellectual or other health impairments
• Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach to therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students across a wide age range
• Provide individualized and evidence-based therapy for students with diverse communication needs
• Prepare detailed reports and document progress in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to develop and implement effective IEPs
• Offer support, strategies, and resources to classroom teachers and parents
