Data Analyst: ETL, SQL & Data Quality Specialist

Responsibilities Understand and analyze complex business & data requirements. Prepare detailed functional specifications that drive the design of data model & ETL solutions for data warehouse. Develop a broad understanding of upstream and downstream systems and processes, including impact and gap analysis of current databases and reporting systems. Perform data analysis using a variety of SQL tools to query major databases and provide technical assistance as SME in identifying, evaluating and developing data solutions that meet business requirements. Help with data validation and testing approach, systems testing, and provide post production support to data quality processes. Provide training, resolve questions, and give direction to less experienced staff. Minimum Qualifications Significant experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Ability to translate business processes and gaps into technical flow and requirements Strong data analysis skills Experience with large database such as Oracle and/or DB2 Understanding of UNIX, proficiency is a plus Strong understanding of ETL process for databases Experience in testing and data validation Good understanding of data quality assurance processes and procedures Understanding of database design / data modeling Excellent verbal and written communication Experience with presentation and facilitation Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Skills Preferred Experience in Financial Services industry Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
