Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and plan appropriate interventions.
• Administer various respiratory treatments, including aerosol therapy and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor patients' responses to respiratory therapy and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Operate and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and advanced respiratory support equipment.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with respiratory care team and participate in interdisciplinary rounding.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) with valid state licensure.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required.
• Experience with EPIC charting systems preferred.
• Ability to float between similar units within the facility.
• Pending licenses are accepted with approval.
