About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Transfer Agency Projects and Business Support to manage a team that provides a range of services to the Transfer Agency business. This includes process mapping, analysis expertise, testing, system implementation, and production support. The successful candidate will be responsible for business analysis, maintaining a project tracker, and engaging in monthly SLA and governance meetings. They will also be involved in managing technology vendor relationships, including internal and external vendors, and will be the key contact for technology-related issues. The role requires a strong focus on client relationships, risk management, and internal controls, as well as leadership skills to articulate clear goals, keep the team focused, and motivate staff. Candidates for this role at the company should have a sound knowledge of managed funds products and concepts, as well as all Transfer Agency operational flows. An excellent aptitude for information technology, project management, and business analysis skills are essential. Technical requirements include previous finance experience, an understanding of core Transfer Agency processes, and ideally, a working knowledge of Transfer Agency systems. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and resolve problems with a results-oriented approach. The Head of Transfer Agency Projects and Business Support will be expected to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
