Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on an impactful contract opportunity supporting students throughout a rewarding summer term. A dedicated LVN is needed to work in a school setting near Guadalupe, CA, providing essential care and assistance to students and staff. This fully onsite role spans from June 15, 2026, through July 8, 2026, with observed holidays off on Juneteenth and July 3rd. Enjoy predictable hours, working 40 hours per week from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

Key qualifications:

• Active California LVN License
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Comfortable with catheterization and routine medical support for students
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and varying caseloads
• Female candidates strongly preferred due to specific student support needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for students, including catheterization and medication administration
• Accompany and support students during field trips as needed
• Respond promptly to urgent student health needs during school hours
• Fill in as part of the school LVN Pool in cases of staff absence or surges in demand
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Support staff with student health concerns and foster a safe, inclusive environment
