Job Description RN-Registered Nurse // Endocrinology $1,246 weekly stipends | $38/hour | $1,368 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 8/03/2026 | 27 weeks Schedule Day Shift 9 hours/day, 4 days/week Position Details GGH Level 3 RN Endo – FT Geneva, NY 14456 26 Weeks Short Description 4x9s (36 hrs/week) plus call (1 hour call response). Call rotation includes two full weekends of call and one weekday/week response. NO WEEKENDS/NO HOLIDAYS EXCEPT CALL. 26‑week contract: 4x9s/week, scheduled Mon‑Fri between 6:30am–4:30pm, with full call rotation as outlined. Floating between GGH and FLSC is required if needed by FLH. Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients with endocrine conditions. Apply nursing theory, technical skills, and communication skills to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Deliver direct patient care, evaluate patient progress, and coordinate care delivery throughout the episode. Educate patients and families about self‑care, lifestyle changes, and post‑discharge planning. Promote patient safety, advocacy, and protect health, safety, and rights of patients. Delegate tasks and interventions consistent with scope of practice and team members’ competency. Participate in quality improvement activities, evaluate practice, and implement changes to enhance care. Maintain infection prevention strategies and protect public safety against bloodborne pathogens. Document patient care, education provided, and patient/family response consistently. Build a healing environment through meaningful connections with patients and families. Qualifications and Requirements Current NYS RN licensure. Minimum 1 year experience as RN in an endocrine environment. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, or NIHSS. Fluent in English; ability to communicate with diverse patient populations. Available to work two full weekends of call and one weekday/week at a time, responding to calls within 1 hour. Willing to float between GGH and FLSC as needed. Must reside within 30‑mile radius of the assigned facility or be willing to relocate.
