Facilities Manager

Pinnacle Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Facility Manager on behalf of a well-established industrial services company in Bakersfield. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy facility, including personnel, dispatch, inventory, fleet and equipment, safety, and overall operational performance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys solving problems, developing teams, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day facility, yard, and warehouse operations. Lead and develop facility personnel while promoting a culture of safety and accountability. Coordinate dispatch activities and support daily field operations. Oversee inventory, receiving, shipping, and material handling. Manage fleet and equipment maintenance, inspections, and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards. Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation. Partner with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations. Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, industrial services, manufacturing, construction, or a similar environment. Previous experience leading teams and managing daily operations. Knowledge of fleet operations, dispatch, inventory management, and equipment coordination. Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems. Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred. Class A CDL or experience working with commercial vehicles is a plus.
