7:00am - 3:30pm An industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution of fabricated material handling equipment is looking for a motivated employee to work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Duties of a Press Brake Operator
- Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machinery to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work order
- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job, ensuring accuracy.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, protractors, tape measures, and squares to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical or programming issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards at all times.
Document production data and maintain accurate records.
- 1-3 years of direct experience operating CNC press brake or shear machines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and shop drawings.
- Strong understanding of tooling, bend allowances, and metal characteristics.
- Ability to perform accurate measurements and basic mathematical calculations.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
